B.C. Hospitals Under Growing Strain

Salmon Arm has not been immune to the pressures facing hospitals across British Columbia. Shuswap Lake General Hospital has experienced similar strain, with high patient volumes, limited bed capacity and healthcare workers being asked to do more with fewer resources. These challenges underscore the urgent need for meaningful investment in hospital capacity, staffing and long-term care throughout the Shuswap.
