Our region has a rich history that needs to be protected and preserved. During spring sessions at the Legislature, MLA David Williams took time to address this need by speaking up on behalf of local landmarks the O'Keefe Ranch (Spallumcheen, BC) and R.J. Haney Heritage Village (Salmon Arm, BC).
"Without proper funding, this valuable piece of history is at risk. I urge the Provincial government to recognize the significance of this site and provide the financial support needed to preserve it for future generations."
These two sites help us understand & explore our history and are protecting our pioneering past. These beautiful time capsules are also community gathering places, economic drivers and sources of regional pride.
